CRAZY_4_NAZZY
http://bloggar.expressen.se/sjoberg/2017/05/nhl-klubbarna-som-slass-om-holm/ Quote Philip Holm has an absolutely stunning season behind them. The move from Stockholm and Djurgården to Vaxjo was a real jackpot for 25-year-old. He sought to take the next step and it took just one season in the new environment it would come off in earnest. That it would end like this well enough he would probably not have imagined myself in September last year. Holm has been a dominant back in SHL and he scraped together 21 points in 54 games, which is by far the best season if we only look clean credit terms. NHL interest has grown over the season and finish meant a World Championship with Tre Kronor has made him even hotter in North America. It begins to approach a decision when it comes to club selection for the coming season and is 4-5 NHL teams participating in the Battle for him. Toronto has previously stated that one of the teams of Canadian TSN. But according to data as it is the Chicago Blackhawks and Vancouver Canucks are the hottest options that he now chooses between. Agent Tommy Öström admits that the NHL is interest, but would not comment on Holm's future more than that. Whichever club Holm ports in the end, it's a cool trip, he has to look back at the season 2016-2017, while Växjö Lakers will lose even a very good back. But sporting director Henrik Evertsson have shown previously that he is adept at solving these situations. https://tipofthetower.com/2017/05/12/toronto-maple-leafs-rumors-philip-holm/ Quote Holm is a pure defensive-minded defenceman, with 21 points being the highest regular season total of his career, Quote Though he didn’t play in the gold medal game, Holm did suit up for seven games with Team Sweden during the Worlds. The only non-NHL defenceman on his team’s roster, he scored three points (1-2-3) in seven games for the eventual gold medal winners. The 6-foot-2, 194-pound blueliner was never drafted in the NHL, and has never played for a team in North America. Holm has played five seasons in the Swedish Hockey League, with last year being his finest in his first year with Vaxjo HC. The left-shot defenceman set career highs in goals (4), assists (17), and points (21), helping Vaxjo to the best regular season record in the SHL in 2016-17. He led all defencemen on his team in scoring, and led the entire league in plus-minus (+24), so a move to North America now makes sense. But that could be an advantage for the Canucks too, as Holm could get more of an opportunity to play more meaningful minutes in Vancouver than Chicago. http://dailyhive.com/vancouver/canucks-blackhawks-sweden-sign-free-agent-philip-holm

TimberWolf
Yeah, I don't think our management is very good but I'm not going to blame them for not being able to reel a kid in that has a chance to play for the hawks.

Where's Wellwood
I'd rather we get him than the Hawks. Hopefully makes up for Forsling. I'm also interested in Aho. The swedish Sebastian Aho is only 21 and scored 30 points in 50 games in the SHL. Too bad he's only 5'10''. He's also under contract in the SHL till 2020.
