Otis
FLORIDA PANTHERS PRESS RELEASE We would like to thank Canuck Surfer, gmen81 and Bomba for coming together on these deals, we have been extremely busy the past few days. Once we were able to pull the trigger and acquire Pekka Rinne, we were very active in pursuing all the help we could get for our playoff run. We would like to thank a few players for their unparalleled contributions to our hockey club. Corey Crawford: Corey was the last remaining player from the roster that I took over, what was I believe 6 years ago. Corey gave our team such confidence night in and night out, he was not only one of the elite goaltenders in the league, but a great leader and a tremendous person. Corey was a huge part of the culture we have created in Florida and was one of the main reasons we have had such success in the Sunshine State. We wish Corey the best in his recovery as he gets back on track and we hope he can be a force for the Oilers. Erik Karlsson: There's so much I could say here... Anyone that knows me, knows that I adore Karlsson. Quite honestly, he is personally my favorite player to watch, his skating, puck moving ability is not match-able by anyone, but what has been huge for us is his ability to lead our club, he had grown immensely as a captain, a person, and a player in our organization. Erik's play for us has been nothing short of sensational, he really allowed us to play a style of play that has been very tough to stop around the league. We wish Erik all the success in the world, it was an HONOR to have you on our team for SIX seasons. Corey and Erik, the entire organization thanks you for everything you have brought to Florida, which includes two CDCGML Playoff championships, and three CDCGML Regular season championships. Onto the exciting part, we have added a plethora of tremendous hockey players that will be key for us not only this run, but for many years down the road. Jacob Trouba: As we already have Josh Morrissey on our club, we were hard in pursuit of Jacob, we believe these two have the abilities to be one of the best pairings in the league for a very long time. Artemi Panarin: We believe Columbus is a good dark horse to go far in the east this year, and adding their best scorer who has proven chemistry with Pat Kane: MONEY! Tomas Hertl: Size, Skill, versatility, Tomas has it all, he will be huge for our club throughout the lineup. Brian Dumoulin: Tremendous defenseman on an elite Penguins team, Brian will be able to provide big minutes for us and provide a steady presence to our D core. Pekka Rinne: One of the top-3 goalies in the NHL on a top-3 team in the NHL, nuff said. Michal Frolik: Proven chemistry with Matt Tkachuk, great two-way forward that can plug anywhere in our lineup. Jakub: good depth dman on a contending team, these are the kind of guys that push you over the top in a close playoff series. Ben: Just like Jakub... Ben gives us the potential of having HALF the IRL Jets D core in our lineup. Let's do this! Good luck down the stretch everyone!

To Michael Raffl To New Jersey 2018 2nd round pick Once again buyers at the deadline, the Caps did what they could to once again compete for the cup while also setting the team up for the future. The biggest piece moved out was Zetterberg. We weren't going to give up Zetterberg without receiving a viable roster replacement. He brings us great leadership and versatility and we know in the Eastern Conference all the production You can get is essential. With that being said Koivu sort of works as a perfect replacement. The biggest differences between Koivu and Zetterberg are team and term. We would have only likely been able to keep Zetterberg for one more season. After that Laine and Nylander are due for raises and we likely would not be able to afford him. Giving us the opportunity to leverage him for a player who could play the same role, will likely provide for us in the playoffs this season, and has the significantly more manageable term on his contract made this deal very attractive for out club. After we traded JT Compher earlier this season we opened up a hole organizationally. We really didn't have any surefire prospects on flexible contracts to develop and become products of the Washington Capitals system. Thompson is a guy that we targeted to fill that role and we anticipate that he will be a Capital for a long long time. The development of a large handful of young defensemen led us to trading vanRiemsdyk and bringing in Raffl. We feel that with our depth on defense that at least one guy was going to have to go before next season and TVR was that guy. Raffl is a versatile and very responsible piece that we like having on our side that has the skill set to play throughout the lineup. Thank you firstly to Mike as well as all the other participants in this league who work so hard to make this happen. Capitals Current Lineup: E. Kane - K. Turris - W. Nylander C. Kreider - M. Thought it was fine given he had been recalled within 30 days etc. He's not mine anymore though but I think PIT / AJ has room for him on his roster...? @ActionJax09

He was only recalled on February 6th and never been on Waivers thus he will need to go through Waivers.

Nail
BIG congratulations to Anthony Cirelli on his first ever NHL callup! Unfortunately word became public after our 12:00 roster cutoff Not to mention this: As well as his first career assist! Cirelli has become our 2nd prospect from the 2017 Entry Draft to make their NHL debut as well as score their first NHL goal (Anders Bjork). Who needs Kuch in the lineup when you have Cirelli! winterhawks
The Ottawa Senators are thrilled to welcome Danton Heinen, Josh Manson, Brandon Manning, Cory Conacher, and Tyler Pitlick. These five players boost our depth for the playoffs and their teams are spread out over all four conferences. We felt that we need to add players to complement our existing core. There were potential deals today to bring in elite players but in the end we decided not to pillage our prospect pool and trust our long-term plan. We move forward with a strong team, as well as our top prospects and 1st round picks. We would like to wish Nick Schmaltz, Connor Timmins, Shane Bowers, and Tom Pyatt all the best with their new teams. No player was easy to move today and their new GMs will be very happy with who they have brought in. Ottawa Senators Updated Roster Brown - Getzlaf - Wheeler Heinen - Couture - Little Guentzel - Kerfoot - Brown Pitlick - Faska - Conacher Moore Fowler - Niskanen Manson - Stralman Lindell - Manning Gilmour - Hunt (Mayfield to Pending IR) Jones McElhinney [Assignment] The Ottawa Senators would like to assign Daniel Carr to the minors. [Waivers] The Ottawa Senators would like to place Kyle Quincey on waivers. if he clears he will assigned to the minors.

greensman
Was driving down the hill from my place (60kms downhill in a large truck) when some enititled douche bag just steps out on the crosswalk with out looking (zero chance I could stop that fast), and I almost plowed right over him, his wife and his dog. Daniel Sedin Two years ago he has eyes in the back of his head, now he can’t see a 7000lb vehicle from a block away on an open street
