Well, in this situation, I wish privacy was being invaded and cities were watching people as much as you claim, because then the psycho who committed this crime would already be identified.

Yeah I see what you're saying, but even at that time of night unless there is some super crazy lighting, it still would be hard to probably identify them, but could help a bit in maybe what they're wearing or race or gender or vehicle being used. This incident happened at a bridge I thought.. I thought all bridges in Vancouver have cameras anyways...

This happened on Bridgeway. More specifically, where North Skeena turns into Bridgeway...under the Ironworkers Bridge.

Very strange place for anyone to be after midnight. Especially someone involved, supposedly, in a road rage incident.

Well there is a casino in the area, so not totally strange to have traffic in the area.  I mean, take a wrong turn or something and .... who knows.

You just can't react nowdays to crappy drivers....  and if someone has a problem with your driving..... DO NOT stop and get out of your car.

If anyone follows you ... just drive to the nearest police station

Don't take risks nowdays....  Too many wacked out people out there .

Be smart. Be safe.  Don't put yourself in dangerous situations....

Still not convinced it was road rage. If it was, certainly not where you would want to stop and confront someone.

Suspicious at best.

I had an incident yesterday literally. I was driving 30 km/h in a park zone had a BMW come flying up behind me got right on my bumper started flashing headlights at me, so I put my hand out the window showing three fingers and then a zero sign to show him it's 30, he started fingering me and throwing his hands up in the air. So get to the intersection turn right he follows, I'm now no longer in a park zone so I go back up to 50 Km/h and make sure I don't go over to make a point, he then drives into the oncoming traffic lane which is single lane both ways, he pulls up beside me flipping me off and yelling at me and claiming he has me on camera on his dashboard. I'm yelling at him it's a park zone you idiot it's 30 km/h your the moron, I'm glad you have video footage of it. This is all happening while he's still on the oncoming lane of traffic, he then pulls ahead gets in front of me then slams on his brakes and comes to a complete stop for no reason, but to piss me off and try to cause me to hit him. He sat there for about 10-15 seconds at this point I'm raging now and about to get out and snap, he starts driving again and continuously hitting the brakes to suddenly slow down to piss me off and I'm still yelling at him out my window how stupid he is for not going 30 in the first place and being an idiot for thinking because you have a dash cam your somehow in the right to brake rules, he then again comes to a complete stop and I almost slide into him because I don't have ABS brakes so they lock up, now I'm livid and took my seat belt off to get out I've had enough, he starts driving again he has to stop a red light I pull up beside him on his right now. He rolls down his window and is now holding his phone, video taping me claiming I'm all on video, while I'm just giving it to him about how much of an idiot he is and how stupid he is to think he's in the right because he has video footage of himself breaking the rules like an idiot. Now this guy was maybe in his 50's, bald head almost like a wannabe Hells Angels biker type looking guy. Was I intimidated by him not a chance, was I about to get out and rip his stupid dash cam off his dashboard just to piss him off yes I was, but instead I decided to take his license plate, make model of car and file a report to the police instead.

Wow!  You did EXTREMELY WELL to control yourself.  Seems like that guy wanted a confrontation.  I don’t drive cars anymore, but I do remember one piece of advice from an older brother.  He said if someone is in a big rush to pass you (like in your situation) just pull over, stop, and let them go ahead.  Personally I never was able to be calm enough to actually do that.  I always just got mad.  Now, when I finally get it, I’m in a scooter.  Okay, I still don’t get it.  I’m an old prickly pear on my scooter too.  :picard:

I don't even know what his issue was that's the thing it happened so quickly, he just seemed to be so in raged with me going 30, it's like he thought I was doing it to him on purpose or something and not knowing it's a park zone, so he's not willing to accept what I'm telling him and instead try to piss me off back because he thought I was doing it to him before on purpose maybe. But when he slammed on his brakes and came to a complete stop that was my boiling point, this was in New Westminster on 8th street by Moody Park.

That guy sounds completely nuts.  I remember wishing (back in the day) that I had a laser cannon.  Then I would just vaporize the idiots!

What I wish I still had was my 1978 Toyota Landcruiser with 3.5 inch steel bumpers on the front and back, and I wouldn't of stopped I would of just crushed his BMW instead and laughed at him.

They actually just interviewed a lady on the news about this incident and it was due to someone cutting the other vehicle off.

Heading where? There's nothing down there to be a destination (at that time). Only bad things are going to happen...and they did.

"

“She turned the corner and apparently, she cut someone off and that person became so enraged,” Sunni said.

Sunni said the pair stopped and got out of their grey Toyota Matrix near Bridgeway Street under the Ironworkers Memorial Bridge.

“She went over to the car and said, ‘Look, I’m sorry, what is the problem?'”"

This doesn't make sense.

So they turned in front of the white car and cut it off, and then pulled over and got out of the car? at 2am in a shady part of town?

Even if they cut the white car off, that guy goes berzerk and tails them or pulls in front of them and hits the brakes, why would you, at 2am in a shady part of town (or anywhere for that matter) get out and try to calm down the road rage induced maniac?

Still doesn't make sense.
