NSH currently sits 15 pts back of the final wildcard spot in the West. We are not done tho! Still looking to add one more playoff bound forward. This was definitely a very steep price to pay for a non playoff forward. We however feel good about the addition of Jakob and what he brings to our locker room. We have needed another scoring forward all season and this deal makes a ton of sense for our hockey club. Thanks to @Kobayashi Maru for the lengthy trade conversations! We would like to wish Urho, Jonah, and Valeri all the best in Anaheim. Moving Vaakanainen has probably been one of the hardest moves in my tenure here in EKL. I am a huge fan of his and believe he has the potential to be something special one day. We hope Urho he reaches his full potential in ANA! We know he will do well in a drive towards the playoffs. We feel that Vaak will be a key contributor in Boston as soon as next year and will join our new core shortly. Nuke has had a bit of a rocky start with the Avs but we hope that he finds his way with a bit more playing opportunity. We know that Gadj has started slow but we hope that with his ongoing commitment and new skating coach, he will continue his develpment.
