Popular Post AV.
A great effort from the 2030-2031 Montreal Canadiens to win the Stanley Cup. It took a few seasons of unsuccessful competing to reach the summit but we made it. My predecessor, @thejazz97, must be recognized. He laid a ton of the groundwork and although the team was not a surefire contender upon me taking over, we didn't have to endure a lot of pain before competing. I'm certain he'll do very similar, great things in Carolina as he did here in Montreal. Big ups to everybody we played along the way. Formidable opponents built by great GMs that will undoubtedly be great teams for years to come. As for us, we'll look to restock the cupboard at the draft and turn our focus to free-agency as we look to find obtain success in the coming season. 10

Caboose
As the Islanders patiently await a response from RFA Matus Kubik, our lineup going into the draft lottery and free agency is as follows: Victor Zetterqvist - Oscar Zetterqvist - Mikhail Skokov Robert Stano - Archie Brodeur - Maxim Beznyak Chad LaRose - TBA - Beau Polster Alex Jacobs - Angus Farrell - TBA Jake Redmond - Matus Kubik Jaret Fancy - TBA Rene Kuka - Miroslav Pecko Robert Eriksson Brady Thome This is an exciting development year for us, and many questions face the Islanders as we look forward to seeing Jaret Fancy in his rookie season, as well as Jake Redmond improving upon his impressive rookie performance. What can Mikhail Skokov do in his first full year as an Islander? What is Brady Thome capable of at 20? Matus Kubik, entering his 4th full season, will be named Captain of the New York Islanders, fulfilling the vacancy left by Cale Makar. Oscar and Victor Zetterqvist will be the alternate captains. 1
Kobayashi Maru
Dallas has done a few things to stay younger so the window is open for a couple more years. Was hoping for a couple young guys to be ready but we’ll go to FA to fill a couple small gaps as they continue to develop: Wahlstrom - Hischier - Jimmy Tolvanen - Horton - Puljujarvi Kotkamiemi - Ristimaki - Kylmala UFA - UFA - UFA (Need Roussel, Motte and Beagle comps) Byram Jones Regula Eggert Pesonen Kabashi Pugin Porter
