If I recall, it wasn't just the Canucks.  all 4 teams tonight essentially made the choice to stand down and not play.

Antifa is pretty much a catch all term for the tactic of direct confrontation of fascists these days. There are so many different groups and individuals who use the term so I can only really talk in the most general terms, but traditionally they tended to be anarchist, socialist and/or communist in terms of the background of most organisers. The original antifascist action was basically the street fighting wing of the german communists in 1930s Germany.

 

In my experience most antifascists are internationalist, anti-militarist, pro-femminist and (unsurprisingly) antifascist. How you then decide they're fascist is confusing to say the least.
