https://www.cdc.gov/csels/dls/locs/2021/07-21-2021-lab-alert-Changes_CDC_RT-PCR_SARS-CoV-2_Testing_1.html

After December 31, 2021, CDC will withdraw the request to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) of the CDC 2019-Novel Coronavirus (2019-nCoV) Real-Time RT-PCR Diagnostic Panel, the assay first introduced in February 2020 for detection of SARS-CoV-2 only. CDC is providing this advance notice for clinical laboratories to have adequate time to select and implement one of the many FDA-authorized alternatives.

In preparation for this change, CDC recommends clinical laboratories and testing sites that have been using the CDC 2019-nCoV RT-PCR assay select and begin their transition to another FDA-authorized COVID-19 test. CDC encourages laboratories to consider adoption of a multiplexed method that can facilitate detection and differentiation of SARS-CoV-2 and influenza viruses. Such assays can facilitate continued testing for both influenza and SARS-CoV-2 and can save both time and resources as we head into influenza season. Laboratories and testing sites should validate and verify their selected assay within their facility before beginning clinical testing.

Correction.  6 out of 7 go undetected.  If you were truly interested in learning you'd research or look this information up for yourself.

If you'd like to refute these numbers or case estimates by all means do so with data.

Did you read the second article? There is no way you read that and posted this as a fact. No way.

The numbers will drop substantially.

Sure did.

And

Sure did.

Which part didn't you like?  You're unable to refute any of it so you're obviously still looking for that perfect argument.  So which part didn't you like hmm?

I wouldn't use Alberta because they're no different than the rest afaic. I do see Manitoba and Saskatchewan numbers too btw, are you imagining they don't exist? lol. Anyway, we're watching Florida. You can rub that in my face when the time comes.

I don't care about rubbing your face in anything. Just want you to get your shot.

its ridiculous to not get the 3rd dose. You know you already tolerate it, so there's no concerns that way. You know this particular virus needs boosters and efficacy drops off at 6 months.

To not do it now is just strange. Unless you're being influenced by some kind of political argument. If thats the case, do you really want to be led around by that kind of thinking? kind of makes you a pawn if true.

The entire thing remains medical, the only person trying to make it some how political is you, and 1 other in this thread.

Sure. I am the only person in the country that thinks covid has become political. Sure.

If South Africa is one of the least vaccinated countries and where Omicron originated and is running rampant, how come hospitalizations aren't spiking like here?

We look to other countries to get an idea of how the variants will go. South African was the first and worst. Delta still?

Because here they are saying positive tests are admissions.
