Popular Post theo5789
Happy with our haul today, as always, there were picked we wish we got instead, but that's always the fun part of the draft! 33 - Lane Hutson 47 - Tristan Luneau 87 - Jordan Gustafson 90 - Rory Kerins 97 - Gannon Laroque 103 - Jack Thompson 104 - Paul Ludwinski 107 - Luca Munzenberger 108 - Arseni Sergeev 113 - Topi Ronni 118 - Jakub Demek 119 - Tanner Dickinson 123 - Jakub Brabenec 124 - Logan Morrison Swung for the fences a few times and skipping on who I had as BPA, hopefully I connect on a least a couple of those! 3

We got 3 of our major targets from our "undrafted list", and feel that we got excellent value everywhere else while also adding a pair of '23 4th's to boot. 4th - D Simon Nemec 45th - D Seamus Casey 61st - C Elliot Desnoyers (2020 5th - PHI) 71st - D Ryker Evans (2021 2nd - SEA) 79th - C Cruz Lucius 96th - RW William Dufour (2020 5th - NYI) 112th - C Vinzenz Rohrer 117th - LW Dylan James Had my eye on Dylan James in the 4th as well as Servac Petrovsky, in the end went with Nicholas Moldenhauer. Hopefully all three make it to the big league. 1

Yeah wasn't really expecting to pick either of them, but they dropped much further than I thought into my pick spots lol lost out on some other guys I liked, but happy with everyone I got overall!

Popular Post theminister
NOTE: I still have to process the trades from today and will enter all of your 2022 draft picks onto cap sheets in the next few days. But right now I'm cross eyed 2 1

Popular Post Ilunga
The Redwings are very excited to welcome Logan Cooley David Jiricek Calle Odelius Devin Kaplan Mathew Seminoff Nicholas Moldenhauer to our club. Logan has the potential to be our first line centre once our club captain has decided he wants to take it a bit easier. David we project as being an anchor on our first line sometime in the next 4- 5 years. Calle has the makings of a second line offensive Defenseman that could spend time on the second power play unit. Devin is a big kid that plays a physical game. At best we hope maybe second line at worst hopefully 3rd line power forward. Matthew is to use one of the hardest working players in this draft, he gives it all every shift. A potential third line player, fourth at worst. Nicholas had battled adversity to play this game, it was this trait that finally tipped our hand in selecting him with our last pick. Last year he helped lead his team to a national championship. This year he had one of the scariest injuries any hockey player in any league can face, he took an opponent's skate blade in the face. This happened after an extended absence after suffering a virus doctors couldn't diagnose. When he finally returned to the game he scored over a PPG over 41 games. With a heart like that we wanted this person on our team. 2

The one regret I have is that I traded my second pick and lost the chance to draft Jordan Dumais who would have been available at that pick. Was hoping he would drop into the third. Got a feeling about him. 1 1

I was so close to taking him however my penchant for offensive d- men, Rasmus Andersson, Anthony de Angelo, in previous drafts, had me pulling the trigger on Calle.
