I wish you all well. Hey Rush, just wanted to start off by saying that your value to the league is immense. I think I speak for the majority if not all that we love having you in this league. With that said, let's not confused that because you are valued that you should feel entitled to have rule changed for you. That would be a sign of favouritism. Do I like all of the rules? No, but I discuss them privately with the exec team and continue my role as a GM of the league. I'm not part of the exec and have no idea on the discussions behind the scenes, but it would seem as though you are more than welcome to re-join as the GM of CBJ again as you weren't fired from the position as far as I can tell. I don't know what was promised to you behind the scenes, but I suspect that maybe it was a consideration prior to you turning your team upside down for a single playoff run leaving the team with basically no futures and being well over the cap with several spots to fill. It is not fair for the next GM to try and resolve this as you move on to a new team. Perhaps you feel good about the team still and think it is an easy fix which would make you the perfect GM to right back that ship. This is just my perspective as a member in this league. Normally I wouldn't want to air this out in a public space, but you have aired your grievances here and I felt we can have an open discussion about it. Surely the league wouldn't want us to have a lengthy discussion in thread and you are more than welcome to chat with me privately as I (and I'm assuming others in the league) are more than welcoming you back into the league as a valued member and for now as the GM of Blue Jackets hopefully. If you truly do not feel happy anymore being in this league, then I wish you the best and will see you in the other leagues we are in and may be in the future. That includes GMs who volunteered to be part of the Exec team. 2) You can still continue being the GM of Columbus. Chin up and carry on being a GM. You have a challenge ahead of you and I’m sure you’ll feel much satisfaction producing another up and coming team, that has lots of prospects and picks accumulated. After finding himself on the wrong side of luck the past two years we hope to see a break out year this season. Philipp has been on our radar for some time and we've seen a number of glimpses to a much higher skill level then his stats show. At 22 we cant help but think he worth a shot.
