The vaccine pretty much downgrades the virus to a very bad flu and helps boost immunity. By the time Canada started their vax program, they were notified that the 2nd jab should be delayed for at least 8-12 weeks. It was apparent in the US/Israel that the short 2 weeks between jabs didn't give time for the antibodies to build up. My best friend's wife works in healthcare. She got the poke in January because she was pressured into it by her work and fellow employees just like you.
