Don’t know if I’ve watched a game in recent memory in which you honestly think that pretty much ANY shot, from ANYWHERE, could go in.

 

As shaky as Markstrom’s been….Smith inspires even less confidence. I’m no goalie guru, but to call his technique “haphazard” is probably underselling it.

Same effect I guess. They are on ice it's a little harder to have a distinct soccer kick motion, but the intention can be the same.
