No, Benning didn't want to give him what he was asking for, that's why he signed back in KHL. Rick Dhaliwal hinted that Tryamkin wanted 2.5 mil/year and that Canucks wouldn't budge over 2 mil. Especially in comparison to Myers, a Calder winning D with 840 regular season games under his belt..
