Phil_314 Posted August 20, 2022 Share Posted August 20, 2022 Trade 1 we probably would take Zaitsev back for cap reasons (Hamonic and Zub were adequate last season I think). 2nd move I can't see the Bruins do it, quality for quantity from us (when Bergeron and Krejci are probably done pretty soon, and with that their contending window as well; Carlo is only 25 so can be part of their rebuild/ retool). I personally don't see the rush in dumping Dickinson, though getting Severson would be a good add we should also focus on stocking the prospect cupboard (not much behind Lekkerimaki, Klimovich, Rathbone, Karlsson and maybe some others). kanucks25 Posted August 21, 2022 Share Posted August 21, 2022 Boston is obviously going for it this year, no reason to move out a top-4 D-man especially not for a meh quantity over quality return. New Jersey could probably get at least that at the deadline for Severson and wouldn't have to take salary that bleeds over to the next season in Dickinson. That is quite the gamble on Sandin. Vancouver would never trade 1st rounder to get Severson 28 UFA summer of 2023 Trading 2 more second round picks for other players.. New management team will not be trading 1st and 2nd round picks..
