204CanucksFan
Miller is now up to on ice for 15 of 22 goals against. Please, anyone, explain to me why it was a great idea to resign him and how he leads by example. Miller has now been on the ice for more goals against than any player in the NHL this season, and he has been on the ice for the fewest amount of goals for of all players in the top 10 for most goals against. Fidds
This team shit, Miller almost blew a tire once he got the puck and could have cost us the game, why do the coaches keep throwing out these bums who have no confidence. I would have like to see Mikayev and Kuzmenko out there even Garland.
Hairy Kneel
If we had 3 more points we'd be .500 We can work out of this fiasco.

He was a huge issue. but JT is too and Myers took the Penalty and crumbled there

You can’t magically make those happen with no prospects in the pipeline, no cap space, and no spare high end players to trade. Miller was the trade piece to get one and that didn’t happen. Team had CAP space to acquire Mikheyev... they had room for a good D-man from free agency.
Strawbone
Well there goes my magic winning jersey back in the closet. The thing is obviously busted.

What the team needs are a couple more D. What management f*cked up in was not acquiring those pieces. Instead they got a pricey forward from free agency in Mikalayev. Team doesn't need forwards, it needs a solid 3-4 D and a solid 5-6 D. A couple more D won't stop Pearson from taking dumb penalties nor Miller from making ill advised passes. Forward candidate for being benched and Hoglander coming in - Pearson. More D won't stop the D we have from not having a clue on who to check when the puck is in our zone, nor keep both D from checking the same guy in the corner and leaving the net front open - that's something you expect from minor house hockey. Miller and Boeser seem to be weighted down by all that money they were given.

Team is playing reasonably well... they should have a couple wins. Will turn around... but the fact is, the team needs D. The real question: Why did management spend $5 million on Mikheyev, a forward, when the team needed D????????? Man they obviously had to sign mikehyev to sign kuzmenko it’s pretty clear. and we have a terrible pk and overly slow he addressed that. he’s just come back from an injury that I’m sure sucked and he came back quick he’s getting back up to speed as for defence we have one of the most expensive defences as is and the contract suck. Myers is movable after this year prettt easy. I understand our defence sucks but it was an easy problem to fix and mikehyev and kuzmenko was a big value add that improves our team overall

poetica
Maybe the team can register as a charity. "We give wins to the needy!"

Pearson has been hurting us defensively more than I’d expect with an uncharacteristic giveaway in our zone a few times now plus bad oenlaties like today I’m pretty surprised hopin he cleans it up asap because he can’t afford to play like that and we need him to be better

Yet they had enough cap space to sign all these forwards innsummer and extend Miller too but for defense they dont have cap space. They could have easily gotten a D in the summer either through a trade or free agency.
