Starting off well with benching / 6min of ice time. Talk about ZERO immediate impact guys last draft. Yet the top 5 could all be franchise players this year lmfaothe tank talk gets old real fast

This part of the equation makes the tank talk get old real fast.

Attitude problem a factor in slipping 1 st to 4 th. OA putting effort aside

Facts. "I'm the clear number 1" killed him. Fell to number 4. Not to mention the habs table stare down lmfao!!!

I don't blame Seattle but jiricek was available. The value hulking RHD have... Might have been the play

if this "major" announcement is just about a rogers contract then what a huge disappointment

yeah, hardly major since they've re-upped it every year for like 20 years. hopefully something more to it.

There good but their also not comparable to Vegas’s team entering in.  Seattle’s the team blocking the last place playoff spot.  Not being a homer but I give the canucks the advantage down the stretch

It's funny, By letting things just unfold we got our core. Same can be said for the habs. Best players are from picks 14 and 15 lol

Yup if we creep into the wild card spot we still possibly end up getting16.17.  Or 18 OA with potential of trade down Seattle’s the team to worry about   Catching up to Top 3 teams is unobtainable if they get to the POs their best hope would be to come up against one of the  top 3. Not easy  ,but the experience for the new guys and middle rd draft pick  I can live with

Top four until he got Covid and struggled to recover.  Now he’s healthy again we basically got a partner for Hughes for free.

Bet we all wish we tried giving calgary a few scraps for that 18 year old kid sam bennett

now people are upset that we're trying for the same thing, but in a position of need

These deals are rare, we need to be in on every single one that comes up. theres a specific criteria:

Top team that's so overloaded with talent that has a player that has become a "distressed asset" because of some mixture of bad luck and lack of opportunity, that said team needs to shed to open up cap room.

Anyone beefing with this deal is probably upset that kuzmenko gets 950k instead of 750k because of the "extra cap hit".

Toronto also had interest luckily the canucks were before in the waiver order.but never came to that  knowing the canucks weren’t going to claim him.but to be sure the canucks were giving first opportunity to claim him . Carolina waited for the opportunity for an offer thereby a abliging bears desire to land in van. It wasn’t happen stance.  Carolina waited for that to pass and excepted canucks offer

It wasn’t happen stance.  Carolina waited for that to pass and excepted canucks offer they also wouldn’t have let the canucks offer go by and give Toronto the chance to claim off waivers later and probly explains why they traded so low  because Carolina had to move him some way but excepting the nux low offer was the only way it would give  bear his choice in the matter also he wouldn’t have fit by the nux claiming of waivers (cap)  so bearing in mind Carolinas willingness to waive him but waiting for an offer from van and biting 400 k says a lot of Carolinas willingness to not only accommodate bear but the canucks  cap space as well, we owe the canes a big thank you , as does bear
