Elias Pettersson Posted July 11, 2023 Share Posted July 11, 2023 His numbers aren't much better than Hoglander the last 3 years. Newhook is at 0.42 PPG and Hoglander is at 0.38. They got Newhook for an additional two years, but as of right now he is overpaid. He needs to have a big year this year. If he does then it's a great deal for Montreal... Most nights He was getting around 7 minutes of ice time with practically no pp time. He should get substantially more opportunity in Montreal.
