Generational.EP40
One of the all time great CL matches. The pace absolutely insane and held up for virtually the entire match. The drama. My goodness!
RUPERTKBD
Spurs! One of my teams will be in the CL final. Meanwhile Barca and Liverpool beat up on each other.
UnkNuk
Well, if Arsenal is going to lose a game I suppose they may as well do it the same week that United, Spurs and Chelsea also lose.
Generational.EP40
Y ou’ll N ever W in A nything ...leave it to the Liverpool bottlers as per usual. Edit: they just got the lead lol w/e, still going to lose as long as City win out. Imagine not winning the league with only 1 loss throughout the entire season. Only Liverpool could Edited May 4, 2019 by Generational.EP40
UnkNuk
Pretty dismal performance by Arsenal down the stretch. They still have a chance at the Champions League if they can win Europa. Question: does anyone know what happens if Chelsea, who will finish in the top four and will qualify for the CL, also wins Europa and qualifies for the CL? Does the EPL get to send an extra team to the Champions League?

thedestroyerofworlds
Man, I thought that tie was done and dusted. I thought I wasn't missing anything (was unable to watch the match today). So much for that. Wonder if those damn Spurs can overcome and get an all England final. The Europa final also looks set to be all English, unless the Gunners be the Gunners and lay an egg like they did down the stretch in the league. Crazy. All Messi needed to do was score one, and his team wins 5-4 on aggregate. Wow! Pressure sure can affect some guys in a very bad way. He's still the GOAT of goal scorers though. AV.
Or, a team with a 3-0 lead doesn't concede 4. Messi, hardly, hardly, hardly to blame for any of this.

Or Dembélé puts the fourth one in at the end of the first leg. Worst player on the pitch yesterday was Jordi Alba, not Messi.

Lateralus91
Would have much preferred Ajax to go through. Probably 4 English teams in the Europa League and Champions League finals.
RUPERTKBD
I'm happy with Spurs' win. (And my buddy Keef from North London probably won't sober up until Monday) Pretty impressive result, considering they were without Kane....
Generational.EP40
Hakim Ziyech of Ajax is incredible. He’s overshadowed by the other players on that team who get the spotlight but man could he be a gem for some team. He’s 26 years old, primarily plays RW and CAM, and he’s progressively gotten better and better every year. He has 20 goals and 21 assists in all competitions this season & a whopping 100 goal involvements (49 goals, 51 assists) in 130 games since joining Ajax in 2016/17...and he has a release clause of £25M. That’s it Player is quality and obviously ready to take the next step in his career by joining a bigger club. He’s prime aged and oozes talent. People say his play is reminiscent of Ozil offensively from years past. Off the ball, he has a high motor and is relentless in covering ground. Has a knack for tackling and being hard to play against never easing up. With the ball or with the team in attack, he’s as fluid and unpredictable as anyone always making runs and cutting. Would die for United to get him. £25M is pocket change in today’s inflated market and he would help bring that fluidity in attack compared to the static forwards we currently have.
