NucksBruins
Who cares who his former goalie coach is? If he was going somewhere because of the goalie coach, he would go to Toronto and Francois Allaire. He's not going to a team that has zero chance of winning the cup for the rest of his career. He wants to win, period. Tampa Bay, Toronto, or Florida are our only real options for trading Luongo.
Rusty_Element
I have a feeling Schneider will be traded, just a gut feeling. Someone out there gave Gillis an offer he couldnt refuse, immediatalely making Vancouver Stanley Cup favorites yet again.
Provost
Schneider isn't going anywhere. He's either the face of our team or the demise of it. Only time will tell.

DeNiro
If he just wants to win, why would he want to go to Toronto, who haven't been in the playoffs since the lockout? If he wants to win, New Jersey or Chicago would be his most likely destinations.
TOMapleLaughs
If what's coming is 'big', then watch Kesler be traded for top-notch prospects. So we can 'get younger.' His NTC doesn't come into effect until July 1st. An out-of-the-blue move similar to the Richards/Carter trades. Problem: We have no Claude Giroux to take over his minutes. So watch us take a dive while Kesler makes a brilliant cup run. "Woooo!" TOML

WHL rocks
MG is going to offer sheet Shea Weber. One year offer sheet and force Poile to make a trade. If he matches he cant trade Weber for a year and NSH looses Weber next year as a UFA Now that would be big things.

DeNiro
I love how the "experts" on OTR are trying to downplay the value of Luongo. They seem to think we're just going to give him away because he has such a horrible contract. Newsflash Toronto, you're the ones desperate for a goalie. We're in no rush to trade either one of our goaltenders. You want Luongo, you better be willing to part with a good young roster player and a couple good prospects. One of the guys thought our backup was Crawford too...Shows the range of knowledge Toronto hockey writers have of other teams not named the Leafs.
