Anyone have any recommendations for snacks I can purchase that are available in the Seattle area that we can't get here in Canada? Gonna be heading out to Seattle/Bellingham quite a bit throughout the next couple of weeks.

All I can think of is their Jalapeno and Extra Hot Cheetos (the red ones)

Thanks

Trix, Coco puffs, Apple jack, Cookie crisp. Count Chocula, "Flintstones" cereal.
What I heard is that the states load everything with a lot of sugar. so even Items we have here will taste different there.

I dunno if they have pizza rolls in Vancouver but they're impossible to find here in Toronto so we go to Buffalo to get them. They also sell them in numerous other states so I don't see why they wouldn't in WA. They're pretty good for **** food.

Peanut Butter Crunch cereal.

Rice A Roni shells with cheddar.

Sodas like Cherry and Vanilla Coke to mix with drinks like rum, whisky or brandy. (they sell them here at mom n pop stores but they are $2 a can whereas can get 12 can cases for $2 in the states)

I second/third Fruity Pebbles (Flinstones) cereal.

Hormel chili. No Beans or Turkey w/ No Beans are ???? awesome and good in a bowl w/ cheese or as chip dip.

Fritos Jalapeno Cheddar cheese dip. Not very spicy but delicious.

These aren't to be found in Toronto but if they're in Vancouver I apologize.. and am envious. ;)

Funyuns. I hate onions, but I can actually eat that stuff. (I eat sour cream and onion chips too.)

Corn Pops. They're very different from the ones sold in Canada.

I would suggest Wild Cherry Pepsi.

But I just saw that as 'new' at 7-11 yesterday in Canada.

So I guess it's back.

I don't know why but I got tired of Vanilla Coke after 2 weeks. To answers OP's question there is those cheeto like things from Costcutter and are spicy forgot the name. But you gotta try those out!

You can get 20 chicken McNuggets in the states for $4.99.

Definitely can't get that in Canada.

lol. I down about half then save the rest for later. It's a steal though, so I always order it when I'm down. I don't care how unhealthy they are, you can't deny its deliciousness.

I'm sure if they put chicken in them they would cost more.

Most McCoronary foods are also made/cooked differently in Canada than in the US.

On a regular basis, definitely not.

Once a month kinda thing doesn't hurt. If you have anything regularly it loses it's taste. Especially going out to eat.

Mexican Coke owns both.

You can find them in some Latin goods shops.

I don't have to worry about that stuff. I have an exceptionally low LDL cholesterol count. :P

OTOH, I have to watch my carbs intake. I have high blood sugar. :(

You can always go to McDonald's and try their fries.. they're loaded with salt. It's pretty gross.

Oh and fyi, vanilla coke is still available at certain corner stores in Canada :)

Do they still sell Pepsi Blue in the states ? I loved that stuff.

Doesn't mean they are allowed to sell it.

There is a corner store near me that sells all the US pops you can't here (all the Mountain Dews, W.C. Pepsi (but as I said.. it's 'back), Vanilla and Cherry Coke) --- but he just goes down to Bellingham, buys the 12 packs for $3, then sells each can for $1.50

Pepsi Blue seems to only be available in The Phillipines, Indonesia and Malaysia.

That's probably because non-brown pop not labeled an "energy drink" cannot contain caffeine in Canada.

As stated earlier, there are shops that sell Mexican Coke. I doubt it's illegal to sell foreign specialty drinks here.
