Now my lines would look like this providing Schroeder got the call
Sedins-Kassian
Raymond-Schroeder-Burrows
Higgins-Lapierre-Hansen
Weise-Manny-Volpatti

When Healthy my lines would be
Sedins-Kassian or burrows
Schroeder-Kesler-Burrows
Higgins-Lapierre-Hansen
Booth-Manny-Raymond/weise
A balanced a nd skilled offence

What do u guys think and what would u do?

Current:

Daniel - Henrik - Kassian
Raymond - Schroeder - Burrows
Higgins - Lappierre - Hansen
Volpatti - Malhtora - Weise
Ebbett

When Healthy:

Daniel - Henrik - Burrows
Booth - Kesler - Kassian
Higgins - Schroeder - Hansen
Malhotra - Lappierre - Weise
Raymond, Ebbett

(Possibly put Lappierre in back in the 3rdC spot if JS can't handle it but I would give him the chance 1st)

Looks like you all found a consensus.
I'd probably swap out Weise for Pinizzotto...

I hate our 2 options for second line.

Ebbett and Schroeder.

Common...

Neither is better than the other.

Kidding me?

Weise has been an effort machine out there the past 2 games.

4th line has problem been our hardest working line.

Don't like Schroeder with Raymond and Burr. Too small, and would be pushed around.

Here's what I would go with:

Sedins-Burrows
Raymond-Schroeder-Kassian
Higgins-Lappy-Hansen
Volpatti-Malhotra-Weise

Kass gives the second line size. Raymond doesn't give them that (he's the scorer); schroeder is the centre; kass is the physical presence. he can also score.

This.
Ebbetts been invisible, and since Schroeder is our only other option I am willing to give him a shot, but to be honest, I can't see him being an overly successful second line player.
I hope Kesler heals up fully soon.

Sedin - Sedin - Burrows
Higgins - Schroeder - Kassian
Raymond - Lapierre - Hansen
Volpatti - Malhotra - Weise

Schroeder needs some size and grit surrounding him. Higgins and Kassian can provide the puck protection. Raymond's good enough defensively to hold his own on a checking line and Lapierre/Hansen can still bring enough grit to that line.

I'm going to mix it up and say, when healthy:

Sedin - Sedin - Kesler
Booth - Schroeder - Kassian
Higgins - Lapierre - Hansen
Volpatti - Malholtra - Weise
ex. Raymond

That's right, Raymond gets benched - shocker! But seriously, I think we should try Kesler on the Sedin's wing. His most productive season was when he was utilized with them on the PP. Kesler can of course still take draws, and be used in the PK as well. I just don't see the chemistry with Kesler and anyone else.

But I guess if we want to keep him as 2C then:

Sedin - Sedin - Kassian
Booth - Kesler - Burrows
Higgins - Schroeder - Hansen
Volpatti - Malholtra - Weise
ex. Raymond

I don't see how this is too difficult. You switch Ebett out and Schroeder in. Simple as that.

And for the post above, putting Kesler with the Twins just ruins the purpose of having secondary scoring. Might as well have the 2nd line, just lay down and let the opposing team score.

I like the idea of keeping similar players together. Our 2nd line are all essentially identical player types, 3rd line are all speedy and 4th line are all good grinders. Maybe scratch Malhotra if he doesn't play well and slot Weise in who's been amazing for us so far.

I'd drop raymond to the 3rd line or even 4th

Sedin-Sedin-Kassian
Higgins-Schroeder-Burrows (Good veteran presence to support Schroder)
Weise/Raymond-Lapierre-Hansen

Booth on the 4th line....lol

When healthy, presuming Kassian continues playing like he has:

Sedin - Sedin - Kassian
Booth - Kesler - Burrows
Higgins - Lapierre - Hansen
Volpatti - Manny/Pinnizotto - Weise
Raymond

Schroeder gets sent back down. Then next season gets full time kind of like was done with Hodgson. He played a little here and there to get experience and then got put full time and excelled

I may get flamed for this, but when the Canucks are healthy, there's no room for call ups or experience building. I could see Schroeder getting a look since Ebbett has been non-existant (in TWO GAMES mind you, give it some time people).

But when healthy the lines should be -

Sedin - Sedin - Kassian
Booth/Raymond - Kesler - Burrows
Higgins - Lapierre - Hansen
Weise - Malhotra - Volpati

I dont even see room for Raymond on this team. There are too many NHL calibre players on this team (when healthy) to be experimenting. The Sedins are in their prime and are probably cresting their performance hill. Fill the holes with experience and size.

You don't need to create a lineup thread for each coming game, that's why we have a Game Discussion Thread. You could have even just posted this in your last lineup thread:

This will work.

I'd like to see mayray, shredder and Kass... they were showing some chemistry in camp no?

Would be a speedy line and maybe raymond and schroeder will fit each others speed nice and generate that way. And Kassian definitely isn't the slowest guy out there and can make some real heads up plays, and brings the physical element to the line if needed.

Oh it would just be nice if things worked out really well yep.

Sredder and Mayray on the same line only works in scrimmages too weak a line.
