ken kaniff
NHL - John Tavares, Todd Bertuzzi(still love the guy) and Aaron Rome(the greatest man alive) NFL - Peyton Manning and Tim Tebow NBA - hate basketball. MLB - Prince Feilder and Justin Verlander Soccer*- Andrea Pirlo and Zlatan Ibrahimovic *(its football. no reason it shouldn't be called football. you play the game only using your feet. it makes 100% more sense to call it football than American football. American football should be called tackleball or something. i have no idea whos bright idea it was to call american football, football but they are incredibly stupid)

McBackup
Many people believe Lionel Messi may be the best soccer player _of all time_, and he's currently in his prime, winning every award pretty much imaginable, and winning the highest individual achievement in soccer 4 years in a row. I don't know if Lebron is even widely considered the best basketball player right now, let alone the best athlete. Surely Messi must be regarded as the best, or at least most impressive athlete in the world playing in a major sport.
