Thing is...if you dislike the NDP so much why don't you do your best to prevent them from going into power by voting for the Liberals? Of course, the Liberals aren't exactly the best choice either but when you look at the alternatives I think you have to choose the Liberals

I remember watching a news report from Global a couple of days ago. They were talking about how a lot more people than usual are declared as undecided voters right now. I think that shows how there is some hope, many people do see the incompentencies of both parties.

Looks like I'm going Green for my first ever election.

Voting for no one doesn't really make a statement. Isn't there a spot on the ballot where you can write in a vote or vote for someone ridiculous? Exercise your rights and make a point. I agree there is no one I have faith in this coming election.

I happen to be reading about their paltform in an edition of CUPE: Public Employee magazine. They talk about how BC's economy deserves better and they go on at length about the inequality between rich and poor. They talk about the need for unions and funding of programs.

I can still remember the NDP administration back in the 90s. The economy was terrible, businesses were staying away, real estate was stagnant, and people wanting to climb higher in affluence were taxed heavily (disproportionate taxation certainly isn't fair). Under the BC Liberals, there was room to grow - but yes, big business took more than their fair share. I say, it's up to people to choose to get competitive and pick up a shovel if they want their share.

The BC Conservatives could have offered some real change - John Cummins is a strong personality and very capable of facing up all the different challenges and corruption within the BC Liberal government. But he's also quite divisive within his own party, and that only hurts him, while Dix is certainly going to have free reign to get in.

Why bother to vote. The NDP is going to win for sure.

According to this article, the NDP have a 98% chance of winning the election.

http://thelinkpaper.ca/?p=28453

The NDP have 48% of the vote to 30% for the Liberals.

There is only a 1 in 50 chance the Liberals will overcome that lead.

I think I have a better chance of winning a small prize in a lottery than the Liberals winning the election.

Or going to the casino and winning something is better odds than the Liberals winnng.
