Nuxfanabroad
Good game for some redemption, 4~2 for the Nuckers. Edler, Garrison, Stanton & HamHouse will bulge the twine.

-Vintage Canuck-
8-1 Canucks! Remember when the Canucks won with the same score several years ago against the Islanders? - http://ca.sports.yah...?gid=2006011412
DollarAndADream
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n4cKI2Eipr0 Actually, it was kinda cheap. How are those Islanders alternates even in existence? Also, yeah. That looks like a reasonable suspension to me. Grabner out gives us a better chance to win. This isn't the same Islanders team that it used to be. They're actually pretty good now. Both Canucks and Isles coming off of losses, and NY has 1 more day of rest than the Nucks have.
Herberts Vasiljevs
We need more scoring from our top-6 outside of the Sedins. 3-2 Vancouver OT/shootout It should be a fun game to watch. I think the Islanders are one of the most underrated teams in the league, you can never go wrong with Johnny T!
-Vintage Canuck-
NO GRABNER! Suspended 2 games for head hit on Nathan Gerbe. Epic collision there... Damn, was really looking forward to see him play against his old team.

Dr. Crossbar
Article on Ryan Stanton: http://canucks.nhl.com/club/news.htm?id=687822 Nice to read a positive article about a good story around the team as compared to the usual media suspects. Stanton's been a great fit so far.

oldnews
Isles have a pretty impressive bottom six. Loved the way they took it to Pittsburgh last year in round 1 - gave Pitts fits with their speed and aggressive forecheck. The Pens were extremely fortunate to escape that series - the Isles dominated and tilted the ice for the last 5 games. Virtually the entire team had very impressive underlying numbers - with the exception of Grabner and Martin. I like the way they play the game. Should be an interesting test.
