Daniel Sedin Hobbles off Ice During Second Period

Daniel Sedin appeared to injure his right leg about five minutes into the second period of Sunday’s Heritage Classic match between the Ottawa Senators and Vancouver Canucks.

Cameras caught Sedin, 33, in obvious pain following the hit by Marc Methot.

Update: Team 1040 reports that Sedin won’t return to the game.

Here’s video of that awkward fall:

That doesn’t look good at all.

Hopefully it's not serious, but it's not like either of the twins is doing anything out there.

If he's done for the season, maybe the positive that comes out of it is that he can rest up, rehab and clear his head over the next 7 months and come back to training camp refreshed.

Was thinking that it might be an idea for Hank to take the time off as well, but now that I think about it, he already started his vacation a couple of months ago.
