timberz21
Defense for a forward. Maybe means one team is going to to bring in D or F prospect in a trade? Or too much D or F in their farm team? Don't know
CB007
Even BobbyMac doesn't bother retweeting it. LOL!

Nicklas Bo Hunter
yup MG waste your time making these trades.... lol if this is the only trade we make MG will go bye bye.
timberz21
it's a process...we start by a microscopic trade, then slowly move to Blockbusters...in ten years! lol
CanuckofSteel
The rebuild has begun!! We are now in full fire sale mode!!! But seriously, watch MG make up some excuse on how certain trades weren't made due to blah, blah, blah...
Bur14Kes17
This is a good trade. Mullen was past his expiry date in terms of ever being able to make the NHL now at age 27. Costello is only 23 and is nearly a point a game down in college with is pretty good and he has decent size as well. To summarize: Out with the old and in with the young. You never know what they might develop into, but you need to know when a player is past expiry.
Ilya Mikheyev
Cool, a younger player in his last year of college. If this is all that happens, then yeah, be pissed CDC, but it isn't a bad move..
BananaMash
yup MG waste your time making these trades.... lol if this is the only trade we make MG will go bye bye. You realize a deal like this could probably be negotiated in the time it take for one of the other teams to get back to him during negotiations, right? CB007
The fact our management team spends the time to do a deal like this goes to show how much effort they spend and how much details they go into trying to make this team better. We gain a college player at 23 for a 27 year old career AHL'er at best. It's a small win for us.
TheNorwegianCanuck
At least the management can say they did pull of a trade before the deadline, am I right? But seriously, it never hurts to get younger.
MayRayDown
Thanks to the OP for putting [Minor], really. I Still clicked it though. I'm a sucker for a trade lol
The Bookie
It's a warm-up trade. Mr. Gillis is now pacing his office, cracking his neck, listening to old LL Cool J.
Ilya Mikheyev
Costello will be depth for the next two years -- waiver exempt depth. Dig it.
Drummin' Canuck
Got a project-prospect for an AHL defenseman who's unlikely as ever to make the NHL. I'm cool with those kinds of moves. As an aside it would appear Binghamton probably wants to add to their defence options for the playoffs.
