Would anyone be willing to pay Stone next summer? He’d be an excellent addition to this young forward core.

It would be stupid not to try and trade a forward this offseason. No reason to lose an asset if you can get a pick out of it. No reason to worry about competition with prospects such as Pettersson, Gaudette, Dahlen, MacEwen, Jasek, Lind fighting for spots. Also if one wants more competition we could sign some PTOs.
In the end we should clear some room so we don't lose valuable assets

Regardless of whether they are ready or not, I think Juolevi and Hughes need another year to develop. There should be no rush to get them on to the team. We don't want to turn into Edmonton...
