Got my heartbroken last night.

Done med school, headed back to Vancity for the gap year. Can't wait for the NBA and NHL to start, so I can finally enjoy after a long 4 years.

It still irritates me so much when people call the Sedins "soft". They were far from bruisers but they didn't shy away from contact and winning those loose puck battles in the corners.
How can these people ignore all the hacking/slashing/crosschecking that these guys continuously endured in the corner for their entire career while they looked to create offense for our team? They brought us 1 win away from a Stanley Cup with their blood, sweat and tears. In hindsight I do wish that Daniel had crosschecked the rat in the face, it wouldn't have made him any tougher but at least it would not have given many of these ingrates the opportunity to look down upon everything the Sedins did for this franchise.

Someone explain the attraction of weed smoke. To me its very off putting, like a skunk pee'd in my face. More than anything thats whats keeping me away from trying it (since I was a teen).

Dreading that there are legs to these off-season rumours for the Canucks.
2019 needs: top-pairing D-men. Solution: overpay Gardiner, Myers with long-term deals. Might as well trade a decent prospect or pick for Zaitsev as well.
2018 needs: penalty-kill. Solution: overpay Beagle and Schaller.
2017 needs: top-line forward to play with the Sedins and puck-moving D-man. Solution: Eriksson and MDZ. -

Na you shuffle the deck , the odds of any of those four first rounders even turning into a player like marner are low. Especially if its a playoff/middling team/contender. Anyways &^@# Toronto this is hilarious how screwed they are. What i think we should do ? Offer sheet kapanen or Johnson to 4 mill, Toronto matches? Sign the other one to a offer sheet. Toronto wont be able to match .

Caufield size scares me because we don’t have a particularly big top six. Look at how neutralized Johnny hockey is in the playoffs . If we had a bunch of big players I think the size would be less of a gamble as of how we are constructed right now I don’t think he will be a good fit . Just my two cents .

Can we talk about Kucherov? For some reason, I feel like this guy still isn't in conversations for the best player in the league, but he's proven he deserves to be up there with Crosby, McDavid, and Ovechkin to me.
