i'ld like to ask tocchet, what kind of winger he'ld most like to play with petey and kuz, and if he feels that winger is already here?

CDC,
If this status update gets 20 replies, I will reveal the true story behind why I chose my username.
This is a NEVER BEFORE HEARD STORY! Once in a lifetime opportunity to find out the hidden meaning behind the username of CDC's user, ROBERTS!

Would you rather have had Bergeron or Datsyuk on your team (2 of the best defensive forwards I've seen in my life time)?
-
If you could have any d-man in the NHL to partner with Hughes, who would be your pick?

Calgary can Kickstart a great rebuild if they go full sell.

Lindholm, Backlund, Toffoli, Tanev, Zadorov, Hanifin. They should be able to get several picks and prospects for these players while opening up $27 million in cap space. So they can get the future assets and then pay to get some UFA's, so they can take on bad contracts to get more picks and prospects.

During tonight’s debauch old Alf decided he didn’t need his Walker. Hospitals suck pucks.

@Alflives Get well my friend. I need you for backup on here when everything goes to sh*t!!

Dmitri Orlov is rumoured to be asking for $8+ million....with what Severson just got he's more than within the realms of reason. Free agency for defensemen is gonna be a gong show again and it makes me nervous for what Hronek will ask

Trent Frederic is a good 3C option. Really good defensive forward. Unlikely to sign with Boston.

Daily Hive reporting Ray Ferraro in the mix to be John Garrett's replacement. I would totally support that. It is important to have someone in the position who played the game at the NHL level and Ferraro is always worth a listen on the talk shows. He works between the benches so I wonder if he would do that with Shorty in the booth, or if he'd be in the booth with Shorty.

I would sooner wear a Mark [He Shall not be Named] Canucks jersey from 97/98 than cheer for either of these teams in the final.

maybe pittsburgh hires jim benning. i'm sure he'll want OEL, myers and poolman.

Everyday the Miller/horvat handling by management looks better and better, almost like they know more than the armchair gms around here. Who woulda thought?

who toughness on the pettersson/kuzmenko line?
who toughness on the miller/mikheyev line?
who defensive d-man to play with hughes?
who defensive d-man to play with hronek?
who 3rd line center?
where to safe cap space 10 mil worth?
imo, we don't have these players on the team right now.

If Canucks somehow win #2 or #3, I’d trade that pick along with the next 4 1st rounders and our best prospects for #1

I wouldn’t take Michkov over Fantilli. Too risky. Fantilli is Mike Modano. I’d be happy with Mike Modano. Don’t need to take a risk to try and get a Kucherov who wouldn’t be that much better than a Modano. Not worth the risk.
Carlsson is a winger at the moment. No guarantee he can be a full time centre in the NHL. Why take all of these risks when you can simply take Mike Modano and walk away with a 100 point centre?

Fantilli is dominating US college like no one else. Is in the running for the Hobey Baker at 18 years old, which is unheard of. He has better numbers that Jack Eichel when he was 17. Almost at 2 points per game average. He would be a 1st overall pick in another draft. Carlsson is not a centre, he has been playing left wing for the last 2 years, so he would need alot of work in the faceoff circle and also to adapt as a full time centre in the NHL. Fantilli IMO can step into the NHL next season. Carlsson needs one more year. They are both great talents, but Fantilli is a slam dunk IMO to be a Mike Modano type player.

That's overkill. Quebec is the team that won the cups when they traded Lindros and got the greatest haul ever. We don't want to be Philadelphia. Fantilli will be a Mike Modano type of player, good for 100 points. Perfect 2C behind Petey. We can then trade Miller for two 1st round picks and then leverage those picks to acquire some top 4 Dmen and get a couple of bottom 6 forwards. If Bedard gets 160 points and Fantilli gets 100 points in the NHL, then the difference is just one more top end player, not 4 or 5.

How does a player with nearly 150pts is only a +17
