    Has it dawned on hockey fans that starting this season only 50% of the teams are going to make the playoffs? You will not get into the playoffs with a .500 record anymore. Not only is winning a cup VERY hard, it's going to hard to get into the playoffs now.

      We’re in so I don’t care.  I say we get top four in the Western Conference.  Habs and LOSER LEAFS miss the playoffs, and we celebrate!  :frantic:

      That is good. It should be an accomplishment to be an annual consistent playoff team.

       

      It is still harder to be a playoff team both in the NFL and especially the MLB with so few spots.
