  1. Were there many hits from behind in the game before this play by Hoglander?
  2. In a game the team won, he was -2. Hopefully, that is just rust.
  3. During hockey season only Petey should be holding Petey’s stick...
  4. Tryamkin is ridiculously strong.
  5. I finally got to watch that game tonight. Kole played a heckuva game - of course it doesn’t hurt playing with Boucher on your line in the AHL - two of those assists were on Boucher goals. Great setup by Kole on the second one.
  6. Yep. My brother directed some episodes of Taz-Mania.
  7. I don’t think we want to do that. Petey threw the reverse hit, got his leg locked up and has never been the same since.
  8. We need to create a space for Gaudette not buy a four year roadblock.
  9. GHG? Great! Canada could use some warming, I want to start a citrus farm in Whitehorse. Too bad we’ll have an ice age in 30 years.
  10. Heckuva start for Lind. We might have a bit of a powerhouse in Utica this year - even more so when Biega, Goldobin, and Baertschi get in the lineup.
  11. Yep, like a frog in a blender without the bowl.
  12. Huh, thought it was the self description of a dyslexic rapist.
  13. Do we risk him on waivers again if we try to bring him up?
  14. You gonna believe a guy who just throws up random letters for a name?
  15. Yep, Roussel takes left wing and Leivo and Virtanen fight it out for right. Fierce internal competition - I can’t remember the last time we had that. And first time Sutter goes down, Gaudette has his job and I don’t think he will give it back.
  16. I think they need to establish that he can survive the rigours of pro hockey without doing serious damage to himself, and still conduct himself as a winger should in the requirements of his whole game.
  17. Old broken fingers, old eyes, and an iPad will do it every time.
  18. Fichte, but the way, is not an overage - he is 19. Overages are normally defined in major juniot as 20 year olds. http://juniorhockeytruth.com/jargon/
  19. More like Hamhuis - lots of hits, strong defensive play, and brings decent offence - great for a three or four spot.
  20. I have a collection of a couple of hundred albums, some salvaged from a lifetime ago, but many bought from a couple of used record shops near my home in Abbotsford. Vinyl is cheap, but has great sound - much warmer than digital media. My collection consists about 50/50 music from the sixties and seventies and classical. Much of the classical is of recordings almost unobtainable now. My contemporary music is all digital.
  21. Huh, if he had done that during the dynasty days of the Oilers or the Islanders, or the Bob Probert days, Stamkos, who is standing nearby, would have been laying on the ice, and Martel's team would have sent him out of the league for causing that to happen. If indeed this idiot was fist-bumping his coach afterward, those should be signs of the intentionality of the act, and been grounds for suspension of both of them and fining the team. You can play tough hockey without that kind of crap - enforcers were brought into the game to police weasels - now, no-one polices them - especially not the league. So the concussions and debilitating injuries ending careers just goes on.
  22. Running guys from behind face first into the boards is an improvement? Elbowing a goy like happened to Baertschi concussing him again is an improvement? Ciccarelli and McSorley both got suspensions - long ones - no suspensions on thecFantenburg, Baertschi, or Boeser hits - illegal plays resulting in injuries.
  23. He had a good effort, since he and MacEwen are likely to go down, they should make for good reasons to catch the Utica games again.
