      @mastermind Filip Hronek. I roll with 6 Dmen because I try to always win Blocks, Hits, and PIMS.

      Kane obviously helps out with two of those categories though. 

      My issue is that my team will be lopsided (4 LW, 2 RW) so I may play less games than other teams.

    I'm trying to decide between Francouz (COL) & Georgiev (NYR) for goalie in fantasy. Francouz plays for the better team but Georgiev will get more starts (especially when Grubauer returns from injury).

    At this point, how do you not give Binnington the Calder?

      Binnington was great. There's no denying that. 

      But he played half the season. He's 25. And his team and coach deserve shared credit. 

       

      Pettersson is the ONLY teenager in the last 30 years to score 10 goals in 10 games. He scored his last goal of the season on Binnington and broke franchise records.

    Is the Stanley Cup Tampa's to lose? Can anyone stop them?

    298 goals for 198 goals against. 

    120 points and 7 games left. 

    If Tampa wins should Steve Yzerman get a cup ring in because it's pretty much the team he built.

      If their forwards can withstand 4 series of intense checking and after-the-whistle hacks... then yes I think they'll win. 

       

      But I think heavier teams will slow them down and upset them

    Just found out EK is a shark... with EK, CM97, the Flames, Kings, and VGK in the division we are in really tough..... but maybe this is for the best. Jack Hughes is a possibility and our young guys will learn quickly.

      @Rob_Zepp They still kept Meier and Hurtl which are nice pieces... but yea, our future is definitely brighter, and we'll be poised to dominate once the Kings, Ducks, Sharks and Knights decline (not expecting very big things out of Alberta just yet)

    Bro Jake leaving 1040.  I actually liked the guy.  I listened more for for entertainment during my commute in the morning rather than expecting serious hockey discussion.  Like going to McDonalds and not expecting 5 star dining.  Id sit and have a beer with jake over the likes of the new cut throat spread sheet pushing JD Burke types any day of the week.  Good luck Jake!

      Van really needs some turnover in the media business. Most of the guys on the radio (Bro Jake included) are pretty toxic. Very rarely do they show any positivity..

    The most insane thunderclap just happened in Victoria. Reverberated for about 45sec. Then an intense house shaking echo following this  eerie earthquake like cresendo.

     

    That was &^@#ed. I was expecting a spaceship to appear or Eddy Maiden to rip out of the road.

     

    I've never experienced that type of long lasting reverberation or the absolutely intense echo. Super &^@#ing weird

      They have very few pieces they can afford to part with via trade

      Risto or Karlsson would be nice, but it would likely be 1 step forward 2 steps back
