    yep; I was out there today. Pooling water on the shoulders around Sumas and Whatcom exits. No3 Road is still a complete swamp with water 'not far' from overflowing onto the freeway altogether.

    Interesting driving the freeway today. It's mostly fine until No3 road - you go from small pooling to having a lake all around you.

    Green. I'd like Green to stay, keep his job, do well. You never want to see someone fired. Every time I come online thinking "today's the day I read about him getting canned", and every day thus far he remains.

    Do we have a TV thread? Anyway, not a movie but a show: The Wire. 10/10. One of those shows I'm constantly eager to watch. Few have that had effect on me.

    It doesn't seem like that good an investment. I keep hearing it is a hedge among other assets. This is a hedge against inflation. That is a hedge against inflation. Well, inflation itself has been a thing, particularly recently, and these assets haven't responded as we've been told

    Gold is frustrating. Volatile like BTC without the huge growth spurts. It's dropped almost $100 since this time last week.

    Man of Wrath 6.5 because it was confusing as hell not telling it linearly. Instead it was divided into chapters, much of which didn't really have context but came together more so at the end.

      Bailey is basically the Lee Goren of this generation but he is fast instead of being really slow.

    I guess some campuses in the Valley are treating it this way. I thought it was business as usual for the most part. I arrive there and waited around ten minutes. My department was dark. Registrar was dark. The staff parking lot was bare. So I went home and now I'm doing my stuff from here. Good thing I live close. I would be kind of pissed having to come from Langley, or something.

    If you think that's sad, there are plenty of CCP sympathizers in the lower mainland. The irony being they moved away from their beloved CCP.

    Enough rebuilding. This team only needs to improve in a couple areas. They're already a playoff team despite playing poorly right now.
