Tony Romo
Hello all, The colombus blue jackets have had a fantastic off season thus far. They did a great trade today. Foligno for methot was an amazing trade. Colombus didnt have room for methot and they gained a top 6 forward. So this off season colbus has ADDED Nick foligno Ryan murray Adrian aucoin LOST Mark methot Nash-brassard-foligno Umbeger johansen-prospAl Atkinson-letestu-Dorsett Gillies-mackenzie-Russell Johnson-wisnewski Tyutin-Murray Aucoin-nikitin Mason Bobrovski That's a half decent team. There defense is amazing and there offense is pretty good. Now it will all change if they trade Nash,it will be interesting to see what colombus roster looks like come October. Jägermeister
If they want to even make a push for the playoffs they'll have to be starting Officer Bobrovksy when the season starts. Mason was a one hit wonder, he can't carry that team to the post season again.

Mr. Anderson
If you watch Nick Foligno you would know that he is no top SIX forward. He is a good third liner. He takes too many stupid penalties. He is good for about 15 goals and was lucky he got so many assists.
DownUndaCanuck
I hope they don't trade Nash, these guys have some serious skill and will only be getting better. Johansen is ready for a top-6 role, Cam Atkins played well in limited minutes and while Prospal is getting old, Huselius is still capable of a 20 goal season. They have at least 6 or 7 players quite capable of 20 goal seasons which means they have as much offensive depth as there is in the league. Now they're moulding their defence to be much more sound positionally instead of offensive. Aucoin is exactly what they needed to calm down their younger guys like Johnson, Nikitin and Murray. Don't be surprised if these guys make the playoffs next season, they're just a good goaltender away from contending.

Jägermeister
Partially because the team is piss. How can a goalie consistently put up solid numbers when the team continues to blow chunks?
Ryan Murray
Ryan Murray doesn't count, because they sucked in the season to get him.

ButterBean
Lol, Columbus is still overhyped, just like last year when they got Carter. Their top line is made up of 2nd liners,(except for Nash), their bottom 6 is average, goaltending lacks a number 1 guy, and their D mostly consists of offensive guys. c00kies
You forgot to add Bobrovsky to the "ADDED" list. They lack the forward depth (similar to Anaheim), and will likely have similar goals against problems with a couple of youngsters on defense and a couple of mediocre starting goalies. Should be an improvement over past seasons, and maybe a solid start will convince Nash to stay until the trade deadline/season's end.
oldnews
Meh. Aucoin and Foligno are good depth players, but still too many holes (including the 5 hole) and spots filled by teenagers in their lineup. If they sucker someone into giving them five significant pieces for one they may be a playoff team. As it stands, they'll probably be neck and neck with Calgary, Anaheim and Minnesota to stay out of the basement.

2013's The Charm
They'll be even better with the return they get for Nash. Say its to San Jose for Marleau, Clowe, Havlat and Boyle Clowe - Marleau - Umberger Havlat - Johansen - Atkinson Prospal - Brassard - Foligno Boll - Letestu - Dorsett Boyle - Johnson Wisniewski - Murray Tyutin - Aucoin Mason Bobrobsky To me that's a playoff team. They just need to get a goalie somehow. Maybe they can convince Wilson to give them Niemi as well.
