Luongo's value has been determined.............and its not pretty!

I would say Rick Nash had a slightly higher trade value than Luongo and look what Columbus just got for him............nothing but depth players!

The first round pick is mediocre as it will be close to 30th overall given how good the Rangers are. And I would say the Canucks will get something less than this!

Luongo's value will be determined when he is traded. Not by someone on CDC.

You don't know how much value a team out there might put in acquiring a number 1 goalie.

Nash also has the same long-term contract, and has been accused of being overrated in the same way.

I actually think it helps Lu's trading value, it helps to establish parameters (assuming Nash has more value than Lu).

CBJ got: NYRs top prospect, 2 roster players and a 1st round pick.

Gillis 'allegedly' asking for: top prospect, roster player, 1st round pick.

If Gillis can get Floridas top prospect (Huberdeau) and either a 1st round pick or roster player - he's doing great. I think he can.
