What is the One Thing You Want to See this Coming Season?

1 Luongo winning Olympic gold and having a great season for us.

2 BoHo, Hunter S, Jensen, Lain, Gaunce if he can get his head in the game. all getting at least 3 games in Jensens case 9 or more he shouldn't be a rookie next season.

3 Shredder on Keslers wing.

4 what will Torts do differently to make essentially the same team have better results.

5 Booth and Stantorelli reunited maybe with Kassian to make a 4th line that could be potentially one of the better 3rd lines in the league and see if either Booth or Kass could climb the depth chart after paying the price a bit on Torts 4th. It would also mean we would be able to have a Malhotra era esque checking specialist 3rd of Higg Rich Hansen. Leaving Richardson a prime target for one of our Center prospects to bump down the depth chart.

I kind of like that there are some question marks this season because there are some potentially very good players to benefit from some games played in the NHL where they could potentially see more than 10 mins a night. I highly doubt we will have as dominant a regular season esp with the new layout. But I wouldn't be surprised if we won some playoff games this year.

My expectations are pretty low for this year, so I only want to see a bit more passion from our fans. It's a hockey arena, not the theatre. I've noticed that the crowd don't give much in the way of encouragement to the team and only seem to cheer when they score. The atmosphere has been pretty sterile in recent years so I'd like to see things a bit louder and more energetic.

Aside from the Cup, I would love to see Edler play every important game like Game 1 against LA in the 2010 playoffs. That hit on Doughty was awesome!

Day-in day-out, that would take its toll on Edler, but it would sure be great to see that kind of leadership on the back-end more often.

That kassian matures and handles the opposition wiout being a bully and gives the sedins some room. Both sedins challenge for the art Ross all season. Kassian does the Anson Carter and is gifted 33 goals while having 108 solid chances to score . Has the lowest shooting percentage of anyone over 30 goals. We still cheer this because his hands are also being used to bruise the oppositions face.

Kesler gets paired with Hansen and Higgins. Good work ethic, hands, defensive. A checking lines that puts in 60-80. helps the canucks to have a top 5 PK.

They leave up Horvat and Jensen and put them on a line with Burrows. In perfect burrows English he says "hey kids, wanna stay in this league? Ill show you how it's done. ". They mesh and score 60 goals between the three of them. Horvat gets ROY nomination, leaving us ok with being beaten by Schneider early in the year at home.

Richardson plays the fourth line, with various wingers, rookies, plugs, injured players. His skill shows through and the few times booth plays with him between injurie, helps him to pot 15.

Bieksa hamhuis, Edler and garrison all have good years. Nothing spectacular, just healthy solid years. Garrison punches in a bunch on the PP, Edler matures some more and starts to play Sami salo smart. Tanev, corrado, Alberts all platoon well into injuriy spots. The defence contributes more than 50 goals.

Our 3.2 goals per game allows luongo to relax. He plays 72 games because he refuses to let lack pull a Schneider on him, and all the work keeps him fresh, reminding him of the Florida 44 SA per game days, and cures his homesickness. The home loss to Schneider in October is the start of a 13-0 tear where he puts up a sub 1 GAA. Seriously fires him up.

I won't comment on the playoffs, I'm being way too optimistic for the regular season let alone the playoffs.

Ill leave the rest for them to write.
