g_bassi13
The Taylor Swift Curse is making its way to Toronto today. For those that haven't heard of the coincidence, she visited Washington, Houston, and San Diego from July-September. Washington free-fell out of playoff contention since July, going from being a division leader, to beating each other up after a 32-39 run. Houston's slid out of being firmly in the playoff picture, while losing 7 of 8 right after her appearance, and suddenly being on the outside looking in. San Diego were a .500-ish team that went on a 11-18 run. It's like the Madden Curse, but worse. Lol. She has 2 concerts at the Skydome to kick off the Blue Jays October march. Standing_Tall#37
Well KC just eliminated the Twins and the Rangers look close to doing the same to the angels so who would we rather face? The Yanks or the Astros?
g_bassi13
Well KC just eliminated the Twins and the Rangers look close to doing the same to the angels so who would we rather face? The Yanks or the Astros? Astros have more greater spoiler potential based on skill. Yankees would have that motivation and that uncertain factor that would go into a team facing a division rival who usurped them in the preceding month. I'd say Yankees, because the only pitcher of theirs I'm absolutely afraid of facing is Tanaka, and I'm pretty sure he's already starting their wildcard game, so he's in game 4 of their next series at the earliest. As it stands though, the Jays need to continue to win both of their remaining games to close things out on 1st in the AL, because the Royals and Twins haven't done them any favours, and after they threw the Buffalo Bisons out there for two games against Baltimore. BCNeil
Yes Jays need to win both now, Minnesota will put out their bench tomorrow. Tough pitching matchup today. Interesting to see what they do tomorrow for pitching KC plays at the same time Sunday. The Jays still don't know their starter.

Wilbur
Been following the game online for the most part. Was there a reason given for Tulo not playing? I'm assuming it's just rest (fingers crossed)

CANUCK-EXPRESS
Edwin just hit his 39th HR. Hoping he could get to 40 so that the Blue Jays have 3 40+ HR players.
Wilbur
Thanks. Figured as much. If it was an injury it probably would've been splashed all over sportsnet.ca
BCNeil
Did some boring math with Smoak and Colabello. Combined they have 620 at bats, which is 8 more than Donaldson. But if their stats are combined you get a 277 average....32 HR.....and 112 RBI. Even reduced by 10% to be more inline with realistic at bats....29HR 100RBI. This team is crazy at scoring runs.
