Surprised injuries like this don't happen more often than they do considering how many broken bats go flying each year. Hope for the best for the woman and I'm sure Lawrie will reach out to her and help her out any way he can. He's one of the best off the field guys in the league. Horrendous occurrence. That provides some pinch hitting ability from both sides, defense, and speed. Now trade Navarro for some pitching help, call up Thole, and sign Soriano.
