Hoosierdaddy
Honestly I'd trade him for a bag of pucks at this point. I just want the anti-Kass pro-Kass debate to die. Kassians contributions are negligible. Move on already JB. In no way has he proven himself worthy of a million posts. Damn ... make that a million and one
Gstank29
Kassian's trade value is at an all-time low. He continues to show flashes of promise. More patience needed, and best to keep him around when we run into more injury bugs. SIze counts in the post-season, and Kassian traditionally seems to save his best play for the second half of the season. We can't lug around a player who can only player half the season especially when we have a ton prospects who are near ready in the minors
Pimp C
I thought we were talking about his bad trades? The only one you brought up was Bonino/Kesler. I said terrible decisions, not just trades.
Robongo
all 3 of the players in this trade rumor were scratched tonight tho... Bartkowski hasn't played since Dec 31 and Caron only 4 games all year tho...

Canucks Curse
I forgot how thrilling winning a trade is. If he has to go, package is ass with an asset so we can get a real player back
Pimp C
Jensen, Gaunce Not even close. Neither bring even a remotely similar offensive ability.
Bo.Horvat53
We don't have a single prospect in the AHL or juniors that is able to replace Kassian right now. Not a single one. We don't need one. Linden Vey over Zack Kassian is fine by me, at least he gives an effort out there and looked pretty good tonight with Matthias and Bonino. Also, Nick Jensen could replace him easily. JiffyPB
For the Kesler trade he should've have gotten a prospect that fits better with Horvat, Virtanen, etc. age instead of Bonino. The Garrison trade I don't mind that much but Garrison is worth more than a 2nd, especially considering he traded a 3rd for an AHL defensemen. Bonino was better than any other prospect they had. Etem looks like a dud, Karlsson and Rakell are projects and ironically project to be Bonino-type #2 centermen at best, Noesen is struggling and Theodore is a one way one-trick pony who needs more development. Vatanen and the 10th were never going to be traded because of the fact that the Ducks had more leverage in the trade than the Canucks did. They were effectively not bidding against anything. This is why they dumped Sbisa our way and we had to beg them to add another 3rd into the deal at the 11th hour to get Dorsett. Bonino's only 26 and on a cap friendly deal. Ducks fans were devastated he was traded, that's how much he was valued there. This was already explained in detail WHY the Canucks effectively got 3 quarters on the dollar for Kesler and Garrison due to NTC's limiting their ability to be traded (only two teams were in on Garrison and afraid of his cap hit) in June, you just have chosen to be ignorant despite having been explained this multiple times. Canucks Curse
Bartkowski hasn't played since Dec 31 and Caron only 4 games all year tho... So we are trading one player who is occasionally a health scratch for 2 players who are regularly healthy scratches. Huh????
