What I love is that even among hardened criminals there is a code when it comes to kids. They do not look kindly on inmates who abused kids in any way. This guy will get it for sure in prison.

Jared must not like the footlongs that he is getting in jail.  He's appealing his 15 year prison sentence in an attempt to get it reduced.

The judge in the case gave Fogle 3 years MORE than the maximum sentence prosecutors had agreed to pursue as part of his plea deal. However, prosecutors cannot guarantee what a judge will or will not do. Russian roulette, boys.

Personally, I'd have doubled it and given him 30.....but that's just me.

I think he's fighting an uphill battle with this one.  He'll be in his 50s and darn near penniless by the time he gets out.

He has a net worth of $15 million dollars. The restitution he had to pay was $1.4 million total. He had iron clad pre nups with his first and second wives that limit his alimony payments there even in the face of criminal convictions. He has lawyers fees to pay but that wont put much of a dent in his net worth. He will sit in jail living for free off the Gov. while earning interest on his investments and retirement accounts. He will come out richer then he went in.

 

 Id like to think hes in a max security prison sharing a cell with Bubba but hes much more likely in a lightweight place where he wont get hurt ( it makes the jail look bad when celebrities get beaten up, even the most deserving ones).

His wife got $7 million in the divorce and all 14 victims received $100,000.  That would leave him with $6.6 million.  Add to that a $2-2.5 million in lawyers fees.  That would leave him with roughly $4 million.  Now subtract 18-20 years of hefty child support payments, let's say $200,000/yr.  That will leave him penniless.  Interest in money market accounts are lousy.  He is going to be very poor when he gets out of prison, if not destitute.

 

You were right though.  He's in a country club prison.  Same prison as former Illinois governor, Rod Blagojevich.  FCI Englewood in Colorado.  I guarantee though, he's already gotten raped and beaten up and is a serious social outcast there.  There's a reason why all of a sudden after even a few months in that he is trying his best to even get a few extra years off of his 15 year sentence.

Speaking of which, of course he wants out of jail. I guess its not the fun times he was expecting? Whys it news that he wants his sentence reduced? Is there anyone anywhere in jail who doesnt want their sentence reduced?  He will be out sometime in 2029 as things currently stand. Just in time to watch the Canucks make the playoffs again lol.

I personally wouldn't spend the money that he is going to end up spending in an attempt to get 30 months knocked off of my sentence.  As I demonstrated, he's going to lose all of his money over the next 15 years and he'll still have a few more years of child support to go.

 

After 12.5 years, he'll be used to being the prison b*tch.... lol   I wonder if Rod Blagojevich has had his shot at him yet.

Jared Fogle Already Gained 30 Pounds in Prison 

Jared Fogle is just barely three months into a nearly 16-year jail sentence for child pornography and having sex with underage prostitutes, and the former Subway spokesperson has already gained 30 pounds, In Touch has exclusively learned.

The new issue of In Touch — on newsstands now — details Jared's life behind prison bars including threats, physical attacks and constant taunting.

 

Jared — a man who famously lost more than 200 pounds by eating at Subway — has crossed the wrong people in prison and his only comfort has been found in food.

“He’s really started packing on the pounds again, probably from depression,” the prison insider, who estimates Jared to have gained 30 pounds already, says.

“Jared’s breakfast is usually Frosted Flakes with fruit or oatmeal with cake. He loves ‘cake day’ in the dining hall twice a week and he buys Honey Buns by the box, as well as other pastries, in the commissary on his weekly shopping day,” adds the insider. "He’s been known to eat an entire box of eight at one sitting!”

 

“Jared is regularly taunted by those who have it out for him,” the prison insider states.

Convicted pedophile Jared Fogle has been subjected to a prison yard beating by a 60-year-old armed robber with a hatred of child molesters.

The former Subway spokesman, who is serving a 15 year jail term for trading child pornography and having sex with underage prostitutes, was tackled to the ground and then punched repeatedly in the face by a fellow inmate. 

The 38-year-old was left with a bloody nose, scratched neck and swollen face following the attack by criminal Steven Nigg, 60, at Colorado's Englewood FCI.

Nigg, who is serving time on gun charges related to a decades-old crime spree through Arizona, assaulted Fogle on January 29 in the prison's recreation yard. 

The armed robber walked away from the fight unscathed but was punished with time spent in solitary confinement, TMZ reported.

Nigg - who has been behind bars on and off from 1976 was reportedly angry at the many child sex predators housed in the low security facility.

Fogle rose to fame when he appeared in the fast-food chain's adverts, after shedding more than 200lbs (91kg), in part by eating Subway sandwiches.

But a raid on his suburban Indianapolis home and the resulting criminal case destroyed his lucrative career with the sandwich restaurant chain.

Can't really feel bad for this human turd.I don't think he will make it out in one piece.
