gizmo2337
He's moving up pretty far on the all time goal list, but his spot on the points list is equally as impressive! You have to hand it to him for playing this long. All we can do now is watch how far this legend will climb. He's played so consistently, for so long, that even see fashion trends come and return
LuckyLuciano
He's prob slept with more women than the amount of points he's accumulated over his career. Indeed a living legend!
Warhippy
Just remember that he left for Europe after a 70+ point season just a season or two removed from winning a bunch of hardware for point totals for 3 count em 3 season, he was averaging over the previous 5 seasons something like 86 points per season. He suffered 3 count em 3 lockouts as well at 1 full season missed and 2 half seasons missed. So the guy was out of the league for 5 of his most productive years in this league At a near 30 ish goal average over 5 seasons add a possibly generous 128 goals to his overall total and it's actually REALLY incredible to see that his goal total jumps from 731 to closer to 859...leaving him at this current pace 2 and 1/2 seasons from 2nd overall in points and 1st overall in goals. Hypothetically the man could have been the greatest goal scoring and most durable player in hockey history, not NHL but all of hockey in the modern era. Either way if he's got 3 more seasons in him he'll have played more games than Howe and would be 2nd in overall points in NHL history and possibly 2nd for goals scored GOAT! -AJ-
I'm eager to see him pass Howe and eventually Messier in points to get to 2nd all-time.
Mustapha
Jagr: Has more points than Naslund and Linden combined.
Nuxfanabroad
Hurry up & pass that chubby loafer, Hull. How would Jags have turned out, had we drafted him? Wonder if he, Trev & Pavel could've happily coexisted?

You've gotta factor in arriving when Pitt had a prime Lemieux(to take top D-pairings). Aware that he was playing with Stevens & Francis on a dynamite '2nd' line... And you must also factor in the era when the other leading scorers scored most of their points, the 80's when the game was played wide open and the goalies didn't wear equipment that helped block 80% of the net. Jagr showed up in the NHL in 90/91, a couple of years before the dead puck era. Imagine his point totals had he played a few years in the 80s. Mind Blowing what he's accomplished. Top 5 and in the conversation for GOAT for sure.

SaintPatrick33
Hockey royalty and his own unique flair and character make him one of the greats. His magic in the 98 olympics and what he is doing now at his age I think he is underrated when we talk GOAT.
