That is perfectly legitimate to knock off the opposing player's helmet so you don't have to worry about cutting your knuckles on the visor.

You can receive a game ending cut from punching a visor.... can cut the knuckles to the bone and slice off a chunk of flesh.

Used to be that players would take off their helmets when they were lining up for a fight.

the linesmen jumped in and not another punch was thrown

why not just wave a white flag

man you homers are annoying

Disagree.  Hoglander has a lot more skill than Pearson... and is a better playmaker.

Pearson is a good player, and can do a lot of things, but don't underrate Hoglander.

People seem to forget that Hoglander is a rookie. Maybe the fan base is a little spoiled in that regard. Petey, Boeser, Hughes busted the door down in their first years. A bit of an anomaly actually.

.50 ppg for Hogz is amazing and is trending to to be a legit top 6 threat

My parents escaped from Czech in ‘68 when the Russians invaded, their best friends were reported by their neighbours for planning to escape but luckily bribed the people that stopped them and got out, it’s a slippery slope though because it shows the true nature of people.

I get how bad things were. I had relatives with concentration camp numbers tattooed on them and I still have an aunt alive who saw her father dragged away by the Nazis. But ffs, public health measures put in place to protect us all is not a slippery slope to fascism. When I see someone flouting the rules it pisses me off because it potentially endangers others. No comparison to the Nazis or Communists.

Not only that, you can see how much potential he has. Drafting guys like these that hustle that have skill is what u want.

Yup his hustle is why he’s in the NHL already. He’s very young for a second rounder. It’s what separates him from his peers

Flouting the rules?  What are we talking about here, someone that's been tested every second day, going to buy groceries with a mask on?

Where has common sense gone?

And that's on the 2nd unit PP with him as the best offensive player.  He's played great and I voted for him as the most exciting player.

And his physicality is underrated... he is solid...  may be short, but he is built tough and is willing to go into the corner.

I just hope Green is replaced so Hoglander can start to develop some of his creativity within a system.

True, but someone's head hitting the ice is much more dangerous then getting hit by a punch.
