True, but I think we probably would have said the same thing about most of the canucks bottom six just a couple months ago. Maybe he needs better guidance (i.e. coaching) or a different role to be effective. Did wonders for Dickenson moving from Green to Bruce. Not sure that Sceviour is necessarily worth picking up but I just try to keep in mind that there may be other factors as to why a player isn't performing in their current situation. Sceviour's a PK specialist, he's on the #1 PK unit for the Oilers who are ranked about 20th in the NHL. He's primarily plays wing but he can be used as a RH centreman (FO% is 46%). I thought he was worse 5 on 5 but surprisingly only a -3. I would certainly take him on our team over say Chiasson and Bailey. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

He's PKed a decent amount for Edmonton this year, and Pittsburgh last - neither are great PKs but better than the Canucks' historically bad one this year.
