Dickinson is not a bad player. 2 things are evident though. He’s a winger, bottom 6 player and he hasn’t fit in well. Probably put too much pressure on himself to be that 3rd line center we were hoping for

Batch has said 1000 times that the order in which he lists the lines does not indicate which line they are. Dickinson Horvat Boeser is the all struggling line (Boeser’s been alright - just isn’t the type to drag you into the fight). That line will probably be going against the top line and used in a more defensive role imo.

Just play with some heart....if there is a post-whistle scrum....put a glove in someone's face (preferably the other team, preferably not the ref, as you'll get in trouble) instead of tugging on the back of a jersey.

sometimes the rest of the league catches up to a player in their second or third year - they no longer have the element of surprise, and teams have taken note of him

I kind of laughed at Boudreau’s comments that they think every game is life or death but they don’t play that way. It’s great to think it. Most of the time this team thinks things but it doesn’t really translate to the ice very well.
