Muttley
Getting experience to be sure. Possibly in some way a mentor. https://www.hockeydb.com/ihdb/stats/pdisplay.php?pid=76997

canucklehead44
14 goals in 28 AHL games last year. He might have a little left in the tank but hard to see him stick around.

With his experience and skills, if they still are what they are, is 14 in 28 really that commendable? Is it worth an NHL roster spot over an equally, but younger and hungrier prospect? Just sayin’

Maybe just solidifying their roster even by reaching for the bottom of the barrel. I’m sure they’re trying everything at least.
-AJ-
Struggled mightily at the NHL level last year, but was pretty solid in the AHL. At the very worst, he's a 1st line AHL winger. Would be kinda fun to have a name like him in Abbotsford.
Odd.
Only reason why I like him is his cheap knee shot on Marchand head

He may be a decent limited call up in a playoff setting if anything, otherwise, nope.

Still, strong supportive AHL guys are nice to help our younger AHL players develop. Unless he improves, he'll probably get a two-way contract and spend a lot of time in the AHL. Ilya Mikheyev
Will be a decent depth signing who plays mostly in the AHL for someone. Would be cool to have him in Abbotsford after icing a pretty undersized top-6 last year, but JR traded this dude away right away in Pitts even as a PPGer so I doubt he's a target.
