Benning couldn’t even get one of those right… It’s easy to make changes when superstars don’t take offers from other teams, or are ready to rot away in the NCAA to ensure that they sign with you after the 4 years. They won 2 lotteries. The New York Rangers model is a joke and is not replicable. NJ is the only team with better luck in the lottery than the Rangers. Their team/city can handle a rebuild, especially one in which they win lotteries. for reference, we are 31st in lottery luck in the league. Rangers are top 2. would you really want to watch another season like this where we end up dropping 3-4 spots to watch NJ, NYR or Philly jump up another 10+ spots?
