Popular Post spook007 Posted March 3, 2023 Popular Post Share Posted March 3, 2023 Looks like I'm in the minority here, but I think its refreshing to see the management making changes to the playing staff regardless of how attached we've been to some of them. Simple thing is, they couldn't get it done... simply not good enough. Changes were/are needed and they are playing Russian roulette for either a hit or a miss, but at least they are doing something, while Petey and QH is starting to move into their primes.... We can debate until the cows comes in if Hronek is worth a mid to late 1st + early second, or if the timing is right, but dammit they are doing something. For flipping years they moved a little of this and a little of that, while hoping it would improve. They've put their cards on the table, and only time will tell if it works, but I 'for one' see a clear plan now.... Don't hang around waiting for the players to become of zero value (if possible), but flip them, while they still hold value. The 1st and 2nd are gone, now lets have some optimism instead.... Stop crying over the deals made. They won't be reversed, and if we end up sucking, it will all be torn down, when Petey refuses to sign a long contract extension... Why are we getting rid of grit when we are so lacking for grit!!! With all the team making their big splash already a few days ago....I really don't think we will be making any big moves today!!!
