While my hatred of them has faded I still routinely watch a certain goal as it reminds me of better times for this franchise. But it's been far too many years since then and now both franchises sit out of the playoffs. Hopefully tonight we'll see some future stars for the Canucks in McDonough, Hirose and McWard although the lack of Hughes (if confirmed) will be a mammoth challenge for the scraped together defence.
