It's hard to be considered a 'best defenseman' in a 9-1 loss, but he was involved physically, had a few shots, and was only a -1.. In the LA game, I'll take the way he played for his first game back. Gillis should have made a deal over Christmas, when the stock in the Canucks was high. Right now, the Canucks stock is very low... So don't expect a trade any time soon.... Whom and for what?
