I found this quiz on reddit and thought I'd pass it along here. It's always interesting to see where you line up with the various parties.

Link to quiz

I answered all the extra questions and my results are:

79% Liberal
73% Green
73% NDP
30% Bloc
4% Conservative

You can compare your results to mine by clicking this link to my results page. If you share your results page in your post, others can compare to you too. It'll look like this:

I did one of those political spectrum tests in grade 11 social studies, I was so far right I went above the maximum score on the results sheet. Now it says I'm a Liberal, which I guess is true although I'm in that realm where my important issues aren't covered by any single party.

That's because the important issues are all avoided in politics these days. It's bad politics to take a stand on something major as you are guaranteed to lose votes by pissing someone off, so you ho-hum and dance around the topics until it's time to leave.

I gave up on the sliding importance meter after the 2nd block of questions so that undoubtedly affected my %ages.

I knew I leaned conservative, but didn't think it was that big. I think that test was pretty heavily weighted on the left slider. I really don't care about a lot of the issues they put on there but care a lot about others. I actually expected to be liberal.

He's out for 6 months (which will hinder his development) and he really needs that development. There's already worries that he won't translate to the NHL and he'll end up a huge ass bust.

I hope all you left wing bastards vote, so we can stop the morally bankrupt right wing policies of the Harper Government.

I echo this. Our future generations will pay greatly for the unsustainable social engineering policies of the left.

LOL, as opposed to paying for the wonderful conservative policies of today? Why do you worry about the future anyway? Not like there will be any fresh air to breathe or clean water to drink after your ilk are through.

Edit: So I did the quiz, and after seeing the questions I just gotta say, it's frightening the kind of things conservatives like. It's like a recipe for serfdom.

Yeah, unfortunately the only point to voting is if you're stuck up and rich and want to protect that. All the parties are horriblly corrupt. The only thing that can be certain in an election is that absolutely nothing changes for the average person, it just determines which rich SOB gets your money.

As a poster I find myself agreeing virtually all the time, I wonder where you and I differ. Also surprising to see more Liberal than NDP alignment in your result. Totally not what I would have imagined. Then again, this quiz probably isn't a definitive authority on the subject.

That I ended up answering "other" to a LOT of questions probably has something to do with my results and their ambiguity.

I wonder what self imposed enviromental rules you broke that allowed you to post your views? Have you been living naked in a cave off the grid?

BTW would you be interested in paying some of my taxes as it seems clear to me by your no growth stance that you feel that you do not pay enough//.
