"He was good, especially early. Made some good plays. We didn't have anyone who didn't look good tonight, our whole team had a good game." - Green on Baertschi

Thanks again! Faster than any other resource..... Almost like you work in media

I presume you're going to dodge this tangent

Green is hard on him but I really think some players need the tough love approach. He earns every bit of rope grenner has been giving him. he was doing what everyone on here has asked him to do, Hit play good D and use his speed to create chances.  great to see.

Love what Greener's done with him.   He's having a great start to the season and definitely has earned more offensive opportunities.

This line seems like it might have some chemistry:

Baertschi Gaudette Pearson

Sutter and Beagle out at the same time though , not good.

Couldn't watch the game so stats might be wrong - but Baertschi-Pearson were credited with 0 seconds together at 5v5.  They played together only on the PP but never at EV.  Baertschi played 2 minutes with Gaudette but it was Miller on the other wing per the game notes.  Pearson was playing with Virtanen.

Over 27 minutes for Horvat and 12:16 for Gaudette.

Horvat was telling Kuzma that his preference is to play 19-20 minutes at most as he then has more pop to his game.  Green will have to balance the minutes better if Beagle/Sutter can't return for next game.

its hard when they are sheltering Petey in taking only o-zone draws and Gaudette not being good in the faceoff dot.

Horvat is the only capable guy who can win faceoffs.  Petey primarily takes only o-zone draws but a lot of the faceoffs ended up in the d-zone.  Gaudette was 29% in the dot.  needs to be better to get more time on ice.

It’s going to be tough, but it’s so nice to be able to see the injury’s coming as usual but depth looks like Gaudette instead of worthless Louie. This is a team that comes to compete every game. go Canucks Go!

Shifts can start on the fly too.  Can also give Gaudette more neutral zone draws - he's going to have to take draws to get better.  Horvat will have to take the D-ones.
